2017 RICHMOND FOOTBALL CLUB MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All 2017 Richmond Football Club Memberships are subject to the following terms and conditions.

1. Purchase of Membership
If you are successful in your Membership application, the Club will issue you a payment confirmation electronically within 7 business days. Your membership card and fulfilment package will be issued within 30 business days from November 15, 2016. Members who join during the season will receive a membership card (or match entry ticket) prior to the next home game.

The Club reserves its right not to accept any Membership application form in its absolute discretion.

2. Term of Membership
Subject to the following terms and conditions, your Club Membership will entitle you to the benefits of Club Membership from receipt of your Membership payment to 31 October 2017.

Additional fees and charges may apply to General Admission Memberships. Members' access to matches is not guaranteed. Access is subject to capacity and the Club recommends that Members reserve a seat in order to guarantee entry, particularly at high demand matches. Access may be gained to designated, unreserved seating on a first-come, first served basis subject to availability and Members can upgrade to a reserved seat at the venue for an additional fee subject to availability. Ticket agencies may charge a booking fee which is to be covered by the Member.

3.2 Membership Classifications and Concessions

3.2.1 Family
Family membership for access members consists of two adults and up to four juniors (under 15 years of age as at January 1, 2017). Family membership for reserved seat members and Country Interstate members, consists of two adults and up to two juniors (under 15 years of age as at January 1, 2017). Additional children under 15 years of age will be required to purchase an individual junior membership.

3.2.2 Junior
To be eligible for a junior membership, children must be under 15 years of age as at January 1, 2017. Children over 5 years of age will need to obtain a junior 16 game membership if they wish to be eligible to purchase finals tickets. Member and Supporter Services may request proof of age identification (copy of birth certificate or passport etc).

3.2.3 Country
Club Members living in excess of 120km (as determined in accordance with Australia Post postcode data) from the Melbourne CBD are eligible for Country Membership. When applying for or renewing a country concession, you will need to supply a proof of residency (for example, a copy of your rates notice or a utilities bill) to verify your address. PO Box addresses will not be accepted without supporting documentation.

3.2.4 Student
Student concession is available to people studying full-time in 2017. Your Membership application/renewal form must be accompanied by a copy of your 2017 student card or a photocopy of a stamped, receipted 2017 enrollment form from your education institution.

3.2.5 Pensioner
Pensioner concession is available to people holding a 2017 pensioner concession card issued by Centrelink, the Department of Health and Community Services, the Department of Community Services or the Department of Veteran Affairs. A Heath Care or Health Benefit card will not be accepted. Your Membership application/renewal form must be accompanied by a photocopy of your pension card. Pension cards must be valid for the duration of the 2017 football season.

3.3 Toyota AFL Finals Series entitlements
Each Member's access to the Toyota AFL Finals Series matches will be determined in accordance with their respective membership category and corresponding entitlements. Please refer to the terms of your particular membership for further detail. The Club will communicate information relating to Members' access to Toyota AFL Finals Series matches in late August should the Club be participating in the Toyota AFL Finals Series.

4. Reserved Seating
4.1 In the reserved seating areas only reserved seats members can access their chosen seat.

4.2 Daily seat sales are not available for reserved seating areas. All reserved seats purchased through the Club are done for the entire 2017 AFL Season.

4.3 At the Club's discretion, reserved seat holders can be moved within their row, in order to assist with seating requests and to bring single seats together. The Club will attempt to contact members where possible.

5. Transfer of Membership Cards
Club Membership cards and associated benefits are for personal use only and may not be transferred to another person under any circumstances. Lending a Club Membership card, or in any other way transferring Club Membership benefits to another person, is a breach of Club Membership terms and conditions and penalties apply (including cancellation of the offending person's Club Membership). The Club Membership card remains the property of the Club.

6. No On selling
Club Membership cards and Club Reserve tickets (this includes any tickets provided for interstate matches) may not, without the prior written consent of the Club, be onsold (including via on-line auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services, either by the original purchaser or any subsequent bearer. If a ticket is onsold or used in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled without a refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission. Penalties apply (including cancellation of any offending member's Club Membership without a refund).

7. MCC and AFL Member Upgrades
7.1 AFL Members may nominate a club of support and by doing so consent to the AFL providing their personal details to that club, so they may contact you, for example in relation to membership pack fulfillment and finals access. AFL Members who have nominated a club of support may purchase a club reserved seat membership upgrade.

7.2 MCC members may purchase a club upgrade via the Melbourne Cricket Club and by doing so consent to the MCC providing their personal details to that club, so they may contact you, for example in relation to membership pack fulfillment and finals access. MCC Members who have purchased a Richmond MCC membership may purchase a club reserved seat membership upgrade, 3121 or Maurice Rioli package at a discounted rate. 

8. Payment
Payment of your Club Membership fee may be made in one of two ways:

8.1 Full Payment: Your full Membership fee can be paid via any one of the following methods: VISA, MasterCard, Cheque, Cash or EFTPOS.

8.2 Payment Plan: Your Membership payments via a payment plan as follows:

8.2.1 Committed Tiger payments will be deducted in 11 equal installments on the 15th of each month, beginning on November 15th via a nominated VISA or MasterCard only. For all new memberships joined on or after February 1st each year payments will be deducted in 8 equal installments on the 15th of each month, beginning on February 15th via a nominated VISA or MasterCard only. After the first year on the 8 month plan, your membership will revert to the normal 11 month plan beginning on November 15th.

8.2.2 By signing with the Committed Tiger, you authorise the Club to arrange a debit of funds from your nominated credit card in amounts and at intervals as advised.

8.2.3 All members on the Committed Tiger are automatically included into an Auto Renewal Agreement, facilitating automatic rollover of your memberships from year to year.

8.2.4 Members can only opt out of the Committed Tiger at the conclusion of their last installment and the first installment for the following season by notifying the Club either in writing or via email membership@richmondfc.com.au. All outstanding payments must be complete at time of opting out.

8.2.5 Members will be given at least 14 days' notice in writing of changes in the new amount of their next season's membership and to the terms of the Committed Tiger agreement.

8.2.6 The first installment will be withdrawn on November 15, with further payments on the 15th of each following month. If any payment fails to transfer between institutions on the 15th, further attempts will be made to attempt to clear the fund transfer. 

8.2.7 Members applying for the Committed Tiger after the first scheduled payment will have the number of required payments deducted to bring them up to date with the schedule and then subsequent payments at each specified date.

8.2.8 If your debit is returned or dishonoured by your financial institution, a letter will be sent requesting immediate payment. Any fees levied to you by your financial institution will be payable to you.

8.2.9 The Club may suspend or cancel your membership if, on two consecutive occasions, your drawing is dishonoured by your financial institution. We will notify you by letter if we suspend or cancel your Committed Tiger payment plan. Please note that at least 24 hours will be needed to reinstate your membership once payment is received.

8.2.10 It is your responsibility to ensure that: (a) the account details you have provided are correct, including notification should the expiry date change within the 11 month program; (b) you have sufficient clear funds available in the nominated account on the scheduled drawing date.

8.2.11 If your Membership is suspended or cancelled, you will not be able to gain access to any matches during the Premiership Season or the Toyota AFL Finals Series.

8.2.12 If you believe that a withdrawal has been initiated incorrectly, please contact our Membership Team on 1300 742 466. You will receive a full refund of the withdrawal amount if we cannot substantiate the reason for drawing.

9. GST and Levies
Except where expressly noted, all prices include GST and any applicable venue levy.

10. Refund Policy
As a general policy, Club Memberships are non-refundable. Requests for refunds may be made in writing and are at the sole discretion of the Club's Membership Manager.

11. Cancellation Policy
The Club reserves its right to cancel a member's Club Membership without a refund where that member is deemed by the Club to have breached these terms and conditions (including where that member attempts to transfer or sell their Club Membership and/or associated benefits).

12. Club Member Code of Conduct
While barracking and supporting your club is a vital part of the game, offensive or aggressive behaviour (including yelling and swearing when dealing with Club staff, agents or AFL or other event staff) will not be tolerated. Club Members who consume alcohol on a match day are to do so responsibly. Drunkenness will not be tolerated. Club Members who breach the behaviour code of conduct may face penalties including cancellation of Membership without refund. The Club endorses the AFL's stance on vilification and has a zero-tolerance for members or supporters that abuse the opposition, opposition supporters, or umpires on grounds of race, religion, gender and sexuality.

13. Variation to Club Membership Terms and Conditions
The Club may from time to time where reasonably necessary vary the terms and conditions of Club Membership. The Club will communicate any change to its membership terms and conditions via the Club website or email. Members will have no claim against the Club by reason of any change made to the terms and conditions of Club Membership.

14. General Stadium Rules
Club Members must adhere to all rules and restrictions imposed by the venues attended by the Club Member. All venues are smoke-free. Patrons are not permitted to bring alcohol into any venue and must adhere to strict restrictions placed on alcohol consumption in designated areas at all venues. Umbrellas are not permitted to be opened anywhere within viewing areas at any time on match day.

15. Lost or Stolen Memberships Cards
Membership cards remain the property of the Club. If a Club Membership card is lost or stolen, please contact our Membership Team on 1300 742 466 and the Club will then issue a replacement Membership card subject to receipt of the replacement card fee (as advised by the Club). The card will be replaced at no cost upon provision if a police report or statutory declaration detailing the theft.

16. Voting Rights
All access memberships receive full voting rights (members 18 and over).

17. Members' Privacy
All personal information will be used, and may be disclosed, by the Club (including for promotional and marketing purposes) in accordance with the AFL and AFL Club Privacy Policy available at http://www.richmondfc.com.au/privacy By providing your personal information you agree to such use and disclosure by the Club and confirm you have read and agree to be bound by the AFL and AFL Club Privacy Policy.

18. Telephone and Internet Renewals
Members may renew their Club Membership over the telephone or online. By renewing over the telephone or online, you accept these terms and conditions of Club Membership (as amended by from time to time by the Club).
