Interstate Information

What is included in my Interstate Membership?

With your Interstate Membership you will have the opportunity to attend five Richmond home games in Melbourne and Richmond away games played in your home state (subject to availability). In addition to the game access, you'll also receive our Member Benefits including a cap or scarf (defaulted according to state).

 

How do I attend Richmond home games?

Your membership card is barcoded and allows you general admission access to any five Richmond home games played in Melbourne. As your seats are in the general admission areas you do not need to pre-book or let us know in advance which games you are coming to.

Simply scan your membership card at the turnstiles, look for the general admission signage and select from any available seat within that area.

 It is highly recommended that you upgrade to a reserved seat for certain matches throughout the year so you avoid disappointment. There are three home matches that we expect you will need to upgrade for:

  • Richmond v Collingwood, Round 2 Thu 28 Mar
  • Richmond v Melbourne, Round 6 Wed 24 Apr
  • Richmond v Essendon, Round 10 Sat 25 May

To upgrade your ticket you simply need to visit the Ticketek website, select the game you wish to upgrade for, enter your 12-digit barcode number (found on the back of your membership card) and pay the associated upgrade fee. You can also purchase additional tickets in the same transaction that will be purchased at full price.

Can I bring a friend to the games?

For interstate matches it is recommended that you encourage your friends and family to join as a Richmond member so that they have access to redeem their ticket at the same time. Depending on the match, guest passes may not be available.

For Richmond home games your membership card will only allow you one entry per game, but you can purchase additional tickets in the general admission areas (subject to availability). Bigger matches throughout the year may not have availbility, so it is highly recommended you purchase reserve seats and upgrade your membership seat for these matches.

How do I get a ticket for the game in my state?

Interstate members in WA, SA and NSW/ACT have now been contacted to register for the tickets in their state.  QLD members will be contacted closer to the Suns match to register for tickets. Please refer to your emails or contact the Club if you have questions.

Once you've successfully redeemed your ticket(s) you will be able to print them from your My Richmond Account. Please note you will be advised when printing becomes available. There is no additional cost in redeeming your ticket(s).

How will I get my member item?

Your Interstate Membership entitles you to either a member cap or scarf, dependant on which state you are in. These will be automatically posted you. If you are in NSW, ACT, SA or TAS you will be defaulted to receive a member scarf. For members in WA, QLD or NT you will default to a member cap.

What happens if I lose my ticket?

Your ticket will be saved on your My Richmond Account, so you will be able to log in and reprint your ticket. If you lose your membership card simply contact the Membership Team on 1300 742 466 to organise a new one.

What if I wish to sit with a group of three or more people?

All members wishing to sit together will need to hold the relevant Interstate Membership (i.e. if the game is played in QLD you will each need to hold a QLD Interstate Membership).  This is to ensure we provide priority access only to those members living in that state. Then, you will need to contact the Club directly on 1300 742 466 to organise. 

Where do I get my log in details for My Richmond Account?

You will need to enter your Account ID (also known as Member Number) found on your membership card or your Welcome Email , or your registered email address, and the associated password. If you have not created a password you will need to use the "forgot your password" function to have a temporary password emailed to you.

What If I want to go to a different Interstate match?

As an Interstate member you will be given access to other interstate matches outside of your state, provided there is availability after the initial prioity period given to the members residing in that state. Please note this is not guaranteed as ticket allocations are limited.

I require wheelchair seating, what do I do?

Easy access and disability seating is available at all venues Richmond play at. You will need to contact the relevant ticketing provider for the stadium that you are attending. For matches that use Ticketek as their ticketing provider you will need to call the Special Needs Line on 1300 665 915. For venues that use Ticketmaster please call their Accessible Seating line on 1300 446 925. For a full list of venues please click here.

I have a Companion Card, what do I do?

The AFL is an affiliate of the Companion Card program that exists in some states. It agrees to provide an admission ticket for the cardholder’s companion or carer at no charge. To add a companion seat to your membership account please contact the Membership Team on 1300 742 466. Companion cards must be shown before purchase.
