Yes! In 2026, we are giving general admission members the option to choose either a barcoded physical membership card or a digital membership card. More information available at our Digital Membership Card FAQ's, HERE.
Head to the Ticketek website and select the match you wish to upgrade for. Enter your 12-digit barcode, and any barcodes of members you wish to attend with you, and follow the prompts to upgrade. We recommend upgrading for any games where a higher attendance is expected.
As a general admission member you do not have a set seat, the information on your Digital Membership Card is simply for internal purposes and does not relate to an assigned seat.
Note your barcode will be visible 72 hours out from each match. For general admission seating, you simply scan in your Digital Membership Card at the turnstiles and proceed to the general admission areas, which will be signed on a match day, and choose from any available seat.
Yes, the Richmond app splits out your Digital Membership Card for the individual matches available to you to attend. These individual tickets are your card.
You will be able to add your game day ticket from your Digital membership Card to your phone wallet once your barcode appears, which is 72 hours out from each match.
Your barcode will be visible from 72 hours out from each match.
No, your ticket will not count as used until you scan through the turnstiles for your selected match. If you click on and view your ticket it will not be counted as used.
If you use your barcode to upgrade via Ticketek, it counts as using 1-game entitlement, even if you don't attend.
In consultation with the MCG and AFL, from time to time, for matches with high demand it is deemed necessary to fully ticket to ensure the safety of members and fans at the ground, and to ensure as many Club supporters can attend the game as possible.
This is not done to maximise revenue, it is done for your safety; to prevent a game from reaching a lock out where you’re turned away at the gates; to ensure General Admission members can access a seat and sit with friends or family; and to prioritise getting as many Club members in the ground as possible.
We specifically keep the upgrade price for General Admission members as low as we can, keeping Level 4 seats at the lowest possible price that ensures all fees incurred by the Club are covered. For 2025, this price will be $10.
If fully ticketed matches were not chosen, there could be scenarios where our members are locked out of the game due to an overflow of general public and members in the general admission area.
All Members and Guests are expected to abide by the Members Code of Conduct (Richmond FC | Code of Conduct) and can expect that those around them would do so as well. In the event that behaviour falls outside of these expectations, the Club encourages its Members to report any anti-social behaviour through the following channels:
A. MCG - SMS the Section, Row and Seat along with the behaviour witnessed to 0409 117 621;
B. Marvel Stadium – SMS the Aisle, Row and Seat/s along with the behaviour witnessed to
0427 767 768;
If you feel your report through the above channels has not received appropriate action, please see a stadium attendant or security person to escalate your concerns.
The Club is best placed to respond to behaviour concerns with a written report from Stadium Security after attending any reported incidents. This allows for a positive ID to be made and the Club to take proper and accurate action.
