Punt Road Patron Terms and Conditions

  1. Application of Terms & Conditions
    1. The Punt Road Patron Terms and Conditions (Terms & Conditions) of the Richmond Football Club (Club) apply to all 2026 Punt Road Patron product purchasers.
    2. By purchasing a Punt Road Patron product, you as a “Punt Road Patron” agree to these Terms & Conditions which form an agreement between the Club and you.
  1. Commencement and Term
    1. Your Punt Road Patron product commences on the date of receipt by the Club of your Punt Road Patron Donation and ends on 31st October 2026, unless suspended or terminated earlier in accordance with these Terms & Conditions (Term).
  2. Renewal
    1. Punt Road Patrons may renew their Punt Road Patron product over the telephone or online in accordance with the instructions of the Club.
    2. For Punt Road Patrons who have agreed to the Tiger Pay Payment Plan under clause 4, their Punt Road Patron product will automatically renew for the following year (provided that the Club has provided the Punt Road Patron with written notice in accordance with clause 4.2.6) unless they opt out under clause 4.2.5.
  1. Punt Road Patron product categories
    1. The Punt Road Patron product categories are as follows:
      1. Patron;
      2. Premium; and
      3. Elite.
    2. For the avoidance of doubt, Punt Road Patron products do not include any match access to either the 2026 Toyota AFL Premiership Season or 2026 NAB AFLW Premiership Season.
    3. Punt Road Patron product categories are categorised according to the amount of the Punt Road Patron Donation.

d. The Club may offer supplementary benefits to Punt Road Patrons from time to time.

  1. Payment options
    Payment up front or via direct debit
    You must pay your Punt Road Patron Donation either by :
    1. an upfront payment in full (Upfront Full Payment); or
    2. direct debit on a payment plan (Tiger Pay Payment Plan) being either:
      1. an upfront payment (Tiger Pay Payment Plan - Upfront); or
      2. a payment plan of 10, 7, 5, 3 or 2 instalments (Tiger Pay Payment Plan - Monthly) in accordance with this clause 4.
  2. Upfront Full Payment
    1. Your Upfront Full Payment can be paid to the Club via any one of the following methods: debit or credit cards (VISA, MasterCard or AMEX), cheque, cash or EFTPOS (Payment Method).
    2. You acknowledge and agree that if you pay for the Upfront Full Payment via the Club Website, then your Punt Road Patron product will automatically be placed on the Tiger Pay Payment Plan. Punt Road Patrons can opt out of this arrangement at any time under clause 4.2.12.
  3. Payment by instalments on Tiger Pay Payment Plan
    Direct debit
    By agreeing to the Tiger Pay Payment Plan in these Terms & Conditions, you authorise the Club to arrange a debit of funds from your financial institution account via your nominated Payment Method in amounts and at intervals specified in clauses 4.2.2 and 4.2.3.
  4. Tiger Pay Payment Plan - Upfront
    1. Payment of the Punt Road Patron Fee under the Tiger Pay Payment Plan Upfront will be deducted on 15th October 2025 via a nominated Payment Method (but excluding cheque, cash or EFTPOS).
    2. For all new Punt Road Patrons joined on or after 15th October 2025, the full amount of the Punt Road Patron Donation will be deducted at the relevant date of purchase.
  5. Tiger Pay Payment Plan - Monthly
    1. Payment of the Punt Road Patron Fee under the Tiger Pay Payment Plan -Monthly will be deducted via your nominated Payment Method (excluding cheque, cash or EFTPOS) in:
      1. 10 equal instalments on the 15th of each month, 20th October 2025 if the Punt Road Patron fee is purchased prior to or on 20th October 2025 (10-month plan);
      2. 7 equal instalments on the 15th of each month, beginning on 15th January if the Punt Road Patron fee is purchased between 15th January and 14th March 2026 (7-month plan);
      3. 5 equal instalments on the 15th of each month, beginning on 15th March 2026 if the Punt Road Patron fee is purchased between 15th March and 14th May 2026 (5-month plan);
      4. 3 equal instalments on the 15th each month, beginning on 15th May if the Punt Road Patron fee is purchased between 15th May and 14th August 2026 (3-month plan) or
      5. 2 equal instalments on 15th November 2025 and on 15th March 2026 if the Punt Road Patron fee is purchased prior to or on 20th October 2025 (2-month plan);
    2. After the first year on the 7-month plan, 5-month plan or 3-month plan, your Punt Road Patron will revert to the full 10-month plan beginning on 1st November of the Renewal Term upon the renewal of the Tiger Pay Payment Plan under clause 4.2.4.
  6. Automatic renewal
    For all Punt Road Patrons who are on the Tiger Pay Payment Plan, they authorise the Club to automatically renew their Punt Road Patron product for the following year and debit the relevant Punt Road Patron Donation, in accordance with the Tiger Pay Payment Plan for the following year.

  7. Opt out of automatic renewal
    Punt Road Patrons may opt out of the Tiger Pay Payment Plan prior to their first instalment payment for the following year as communiated by the Club in writing by notifying the Membership Team either in writing or via email - membership@richmondfc.com.au. All outstanding payments must be completed at the time of opting out. Where notice is received by the Club prior to the first instalment payment for the following year, there will be no automatic renewal of the Punt Road Patron product.

  8. Automatic renewal reminder and any changes to terms and fees
    Punt Road Patrons will be given at least 30 days' notice in writing (ie by email or mail) of the automatic renewal of Punt Road Patron product under the Tiger Pay Payment Plan for the following year. In particular, the Club will advise of any changes in the these Terms & Conditions for the following year.

  9. Payment intervals
    1. The first instalment of the:
      1. 10-month plan will be withdrawn on 15th October, with further payments on the 1st of each following month, or on the next Business Day if the 15th day of the month falls on a weekend or public holiday;
      2. 7- month plan will be withdrawn on 15th January, with further payments on the 15th of each following month, or on the next Business Day if the 15th day of the month falls on a weekend or public holiday;
      3. 5-month plan will be withdrawn on the 15th March, with further payments on the 15th of each following month, or on the next Business Day if the 15th day of the month falls on a weekend or public holiday; and
      4. 3-month payment plan will be withdrawn on the 15th May, with further payments on the 15th of each following month, or on the next Business Day if the 15th day of the month falls on a weekend or public holiday.
    2. If any payment under the Tiger Pay Payment Plan fails to transfer between institutions on the relevant payment date, further attempts will be made to attempt to clear the fund transfer (including on the 15th day of each following month).
  10. Deduction
    Punt Road Patrons applying for the Tiger Pay Payment Plan after the first scheduled payment will have the number of required payments deducted to bring them up to date with the relevant payment schedule and then subsequent payments at each specified payment date.

  11. Bank fees
    If your Upfront Full Payment or Tiger Pay Payment Plan payment is returned or dishonoured by your financial institution, the Club will issue a letter requesting immediate payment. Any fees levied to you by your financial institution will be payable to you.

  12. Account details
    It is your responsibility to ensure that:
    1. the account details you have provided are correct, including notification should the expiry date change within the Tiger Pay Payment Plan; and
    2. you have sufficient clear funds available in the nominated account on the scheduled payment date.
  13. Suspension or termination by the Club
    The Club may suspend or terminate your Punt Road Patron product if, on 2 consecutive occasions, your drawing is dishonoured by your financial institution. We will provide you with reasonable prior written notice of any suspension or cancellation of your Punt Road Patron product, including your Tiger Pay Payment Plan. Please note that at least 24 hours will be needed to reinstate your Punt Road Patron product, once the correct payment is received.

  14. Suspension or cancellation of Tiger Pay Plan payments by Punt Road Patrons
    Punt Road Patrons on the Tiger Pay Payment Plan may at any time suspend or cancel their payments which will suspend or cancel the Punt Road Patron product by contacting the Membership Team on (03) 9426 4400.

  15. Withdrawal error
    If you believe that a withdrawal has been initiated incorrectly, please contact the Membership Team on (03) 9426 4400. You will receive a full refund of the withdrawal amount if we cannot substantiate the reason for withdrawing.
  1. Inclusive pricing
    Except where expressly noted, all prices include GST.
  1. Australian Sports Foundation
    1. The Club is registered with, and conducts fundraising activities under the charter of, the Australian Sports Foundation Ltd (ABN 27 008 613 858) (ASF). The ASF has tax-deductible status to raise money on behalf of sporting organisations for the development of sport in Australia. Punt Road Patron Donations are received by the RFC and will be provided to the ASF for the benefit of the RFC. For each Punt Road Patron Donation over $2.00, ASF will issue Punt Road Patrons with a tax-deductible receipt.
    2. The RFC will provide Punt Road Patrons personal information to ASF for purposes of this clause in accordance with the privacy collection statement outlined in clause 9.
  1. Prohibition on transfer
    Punt Road Patron products and associated benefits are for personal use only and may not be lent, transferred or sold to another person under any circumstances. For example, Punt Road Patron benefits must not be:
    1. advertised for sale or on-sold to another person (including via on-line auction sites or unauthorised reseller sites);
    2. used for advertising, promotion, fundraising or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions); or
    3. used to enhance the demand for other goods or services of a person or business, either by the original purchasing Punt Road Patron or any subsequent bearer.
  1. General policy
    Subject to law, Punt Road Patron Donations are nonrefundable.

  2. Cancellations for change of mind
    A person may terminate their Punt Road Patron product at any time due to a “change of mind” by notifying the Club in writing or cancelling their Tiger Pay Payment Plan in accordance with clause 4.2.
  1. Type of personal information collected
    1. Your privacy is important to the Club. Your personal information will be collected, used, and managed by the Club in accordance with this clause and our Privacy Policy.
    2. The personal information may include your:
      1. full name;
      2. date of birth;
      3. gender;
      4. address;
      5. email address;
      6. phone number/s; and
      7. bank account information or debit / credit card information
  2. How we collect your personal information
    1. We collect this personal information from you directly either online via our Club Website or via telephone or in person.
    2. We may also collect additional non-personally identifiable information (for example, browser version, IP address), regarding your use of the Club Website and Club App.
  3. Purposes of the collection and use of your personal information
    The Club collects your personal information for the:
    1. processing and managing your Punt Road Patron Donation;
    2. providing you with the products and services of your Punt Road Patron product;
    3. communicating with you about your Punt Road Patron product;
    4. facilitating the issuing of tax-deductible receipts by ASF to Punt Road Patrons for their Punt Road Patron Donations;
    5. verifying your identity during verbal communications with you about your Punt Road Patron product;
    6. undertaking research and data analysis in order to improve our Punt Road Patron products and your experience with us (eg through surveys, questionnaires and anonymised data matching);
    7. handling and responding to any requests or complaints made; and
    8. our record keeping and reporting requirements.

  4. Direct marketing and ‘opting out’
    We may use your Personal Information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes of the Club and you consent to us (or our third party providers acting on our behalf):
    1. communicating with you via email, SMS, social media or telephone to promote our Punt Road Patron products, offers and promotions or other products and services (including advising you about other products and services that you may be interested in); and
    2. promoting the products and services of our sponsors through marketing campaigns coordinated by us via email, SMS, social media or telephone.
      You can always opt out of receiving such communications by either:
    3. clicking on the unsubscribe link or opt out code provided in the communication; or
    4. contacting the Club’s Privacy Officer at privacy.officer@richmondfc.com.au or a Club representative at membership@richmondfc.com.au.
  5. Disclosure of your personal information
    1. The Club may disclose your personal information:
      1. to third parties (including service providers, contractors and agents) to assist the Club to fulfil for these Purposes. In particular, the Club will disclose your personal information to the ASF to process the Punt Road Patron Donation and issue tax-deductible receipts you; or
      2. if required by law.
  6. What happens if you do not provide your personal information
    If you choose not to provide us with certain personal information for the purpose of the application process or any renewal, then this may result in the Club being unable to process your Punt Road Patron product and arrange for ASF to issue you with a tax-deductible receipt for the Punt Road Patron Donation.
  7. More information
    1. The Privacy Policy contains further details regarding how the Club collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise handles your personal information including how you can access or correct your personal information; how you can opt out of receiving promotional or marketing communications; how you can make a privacy related complaint, and how that complaint will be dealt with; and the extent to which your personal information may be stored or disclosed overseas.

    3. In this clause, “personal information” has the same meaning as described in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
  8. Consent
    By applying for and purchasing a Punt Road Patron product, you agree and confirm that you have read and agree to be bound by the terms of this clause and the Privacy Policy.
  1. Subject to your rights at law (including the Australian Consumer Law), the Club’s liability for any claim, action, proceeding or dispute, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise under on in connection with these Terms & Conditions is limited to one or more of the following at the Club’s option:
    1. In the case of goods, the replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods, the repair of the goods, the payment of the cost of replacing the goods or of acquiring equivalent goods, or the payment of the cost of having the goods repaired; or
    2. In the case of services, the supplying of the services again, or the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.

The Club nor any of its directors, officers, employees or agents will not be liable to any Punt Road Patrons for any special, indirect, or consequential damages (including damages for loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business or loss of opportunity) arising from or in relation to their Punt Road Patron product and these Terms & Conditions.

  1. Changes to Terms & Conditions
    The Club may from time to time, where reasonably necessary or if required due to a change in law, change these Terms & Conditions. If the Club changes these Terms & Conditions, you will be bound by those changes, unless you choose to cancel your Punt Road Patron under clause 5 .

The Club will communicate any changes to these Terms & Conditions via the Club Website (and if considered necessary, via email to Punt Road Patrons). Any changes to these Terms & Conditions are effective from the time of posting the Terms & Conditions on the Club Website.

  1. Read down and severance
    Any clause of these Terms and Conditions will be read down to the extent necessary to prevent that clause or these Terms and Conditions being unlawful, invalid, void, or unenforceable. If it is not possible to read down a clause, any part of, or all of, the clause that is unlawful, invalid, void or unenforceable will be severed from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses continue in force.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts exercising jurisdiction in Victoria.

  1. Definitions
    The meanings of the terms used in these Terms and Conditions are as follows:
    1. 2026 Toyota AFL Premiership Season means an annual fixture of AFL home and away football games between AFL Clubs as specified by the AFL
    2. 2026 NAB AFLW Premiership Season means an annual fixture of AFLW home and away football games between AFL Clubs as specified by the AFL;
    3. AFL means the Australian Football League Ltd ACN 004 155 211;
    4. ASF Privacy Policy means the privacy policy of ASF which specifies how ASF handles personal information collected by ASF;
    5. Australian Sports Foundation means Australian Sports Foundation Ltd ABN 27 008 613 858;
    6. Business Day means a day other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in the place where an act is to be performed;
    7. Club Website means www.richmondf.com/membership;
    8. Privacy Policy means the AFL and AFL Club Privacy Policy available at htttp://www.richmondfc.com.au/privacy, and as it may be updated from time to time;
    9. Punt Road Patron Donation means the donation amounts listed in clause 3.1; and
    10. Tiger Pay Payment Plan has the meaning given in clause 4.2.
  2. Interpretation
    Unless the contrary intention appears:
    1. the singular includes the plural and vice versa, and words importing a gender include other genders;
    2. a reference to a statute, regulation or provision of a statute or regulation (Statutory Provision) includes all amended or re-enacted Statutory Provisions from time to time, all replacement Statutory Provisions and any other statutory instruments made or issued under that Statutory Provision;
    3. headings are for reference purposes only and must not be used when interpreting this Agreement;
    4. other grammatical forms of words or expressions have corresponding meanings;
    5. the words “including and “includes” are not words of limitation; and
    6. “$” or dollars is a reference to Australian dollars (AUD), unless otherwise stated.
