Richmond Football Thank You Tiger Army Round Member Promotion Terms & Conditions

  1. Application of Terms & Conditions: This document contains the terms and conditions of entry (Terms & Conditions) into the Richmond Football Thank You Tiger Army Round member promotion (Promotion). Other published information on how to enter, advertising material and prize information published by the Promoter form part of these Terms & Conditions. Entry into the Promotions constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions by the individual (entrant).
  2. Promoter: The Promotion is conducted by Richmond Football Club Ltd ABN 25 679 793 340 of Punt Road Oval, Richmond, Victoria 3121 (Premises), membership@richmondfc.com.au / (03) 9426 4400 (Promoter / RFC).
  3. Nature of Promotion: This is a promotion for 2024 RFC AFLW access members only who attend the Round 10 RFC vs Hawthorn game at the Premises on Sunday November 3, 2024 (AFLW RFC Game). By satisfying the eligibility requirements in clause 6 and collecting one (1) ticket, an entrant will be entered into the draw to win prizes which will be drawn at half time.
  4. Promotional Period: The Promotion commences on November 3, 12:30PM AEDT and ends at November 3, 4PM AEDT (Promotional Period).
  5. Receipt of entries: All entries must be received by the Promoter by the end of the Promotional Period. Incomplete, inaudible, indecipherable or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid.
  1. Eligibility: To be eligible for entry, entrants must:
  2. be residents of Australia;
  3. be a member of a 2024 AFLW RFC access membership (RFC AFLW Access Membership);
  4. hold a valid ticket to the AFLW RFC Game ;
  5. attend the AFLW RFC Game.
  6. Exclusions::Directors, officers and employees of the Promoter cannot enter the Promotion.
  7. Children: If the entrant is under the age of 18 years at the time of entry, the entrant’s parent or guardian must either provide their written consent for their entry or enter on their behalf. Refer to clause 23 for additional Prize conditions.
  8. Verification: In addition to the proof of entry requirements in clause 13, the Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including the entrant’s identity, membership type, and number). Suitable proof of identification is required at the time of collecting the ticket..
  9. Disqualification: The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to reject an entry and/or disqualify any entrant who it has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms & Conditions, or engaged in any improper or unlawful misconduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion (eg tampered with the entry process). The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from any offender(s) are reserved. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  1. How to enter: To enter each Promotion, entrants must visit the RFC membership marquee at the AFLW RFC Game on Sunday November 3, between 12:30PM and 4PM to collect one (1) ticket.
  2. Entry limit: one (1) x ticket per entrant. For the avoidance of doubt, a parent or guardian of a child entering the Promotion may enter once on behalf of their child, and once in their own capacity.
  3. Proof of entry: Eligible entrants must present to the Promoter their RFC AFLW Access Membership card (in hard copy or electronic) or other proof of their RFC AFLW Access Membership at the time of entry into the Promotion.
  1. Prize(s): First prize is $500 (First Prize). Second Prize is two (2) x spots in an AFLW Guard of Honour at an RFC AFLW game in the 2025 AFLW Premiership Season (as determined by the Promoter) (Second Prize). Third prize is a free 2025 RFC AFLW Access Membership (valued at $80 for a junior membership and $115 for an adult membership) membership (Prize(s)).
  2. Prize value: The total prize pool is $700.
  3. Prize draw: The winners will be determined by the game-day host randomly drawing three (3) winners from the pool of tickets (ie a barrel draw). The draw will take place at half time (approximately 4PM)) at the Premises.
  4. If there is more than one prize: The first valid entry drawn wins the First Prize and so on in descending order of number and value. If invalid, the next valid entry drawn will win.
  5. Notification of winner(s): Winners will be drawn publicly at half time and announced by the game-day host. Winners will also notified by phone call and email on Monday November 4, 2024, using the contact details on the relevant winner’s membership account. No action is required at half time from the winners.
  6. Publication of winner(s): The names of winner(s) will be published on the Promoter’s website: https://membership.richmondfc.... on Monday November 4, 2024.
  7. Unclaimed Prize(s): Despite every reasonable effort taken by the Promoter to contact the winners, if a Prize remains unclaimed by Friday November 8, 5PM AEDT, then:
  8. the Prize will be forfeited by that winner;
  9. the Promoter will publish the fact of the unclaimed Prize on the Promotor’s website; and
  10. the Promoter may conduct a re-draw in order to distribute the Prize(s) on Monday November 11, 2024, at 9AM AEDT. Any winner in the unclaimed prize draw will be notified by phone call and email and their details published on the Promoter’s website on https://membership.richmondfc.... on Monday November 11, 2024 at 12PM AEDT.
  11. Final decision: The Promotion is a game of chance. The Promoter’s decision for all Prizes in the Promotions is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  12. Substitution of Prize(s): In the event that a Prize (or part of a Prize) is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or part of the Prize) in its discretion with an alternative prize (or part of the prize) to similar monetary value, subject to any written directions given by government gaming departments.
  13. Children If the winner is under the age of 18 years, the Prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or legal guardian on behalf of the winner. It is the responsibility of the winner’s parent/legal guardian to prove their parental status/ legal guardianship at the time of winner notification. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a person/s mistakenly represents themselves to be a winner’s parent and/or legal guardian, then that person will be liable for all costs associated with relocating and/or re-awarding the Prize (including but not limited to and administrative fees incurred by the Promoter). Where relevant, the Promoter is only responsible for ensuring that the Prize is awarded to a person who is either a parent or legal guardian of the winner.
  14. Additional costs: The Second Prize does not include any tickets to the relevant AFLW game in the 2025 AFLW Premiership Season . These are the responsibility of the winner.
  15. Non-transferable: All Prizes must be taken as offered. The Prizes, or any unused portion of the Prizes, are not transferable or exchangeable and the Second Prize and Third Prize are not redeemable for cash. The Prizes are not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
  16. Prize values: Prize values are in Australian dollars and are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at time of publication. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the Prize.
  17. Tax liabilities: Winners are advised that tax implications may arise from their Prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of their Prize.
  18. Additional conditions: It is a condition of accepting the Prize(d) that the winner(s) must comply with all the conditions of use of the Prize(s) and the Prize supplier’s requirements.
  19. Ability to take part in Prize: The Promoter reserves the right to prohibit winner(s) from taking part in any or all aspects of the Prize, if the Promoter determines, in its absolute discretion that the winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the Prize.
  1. Lost entries: The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any late, lost or misdirected entries (ie tickets).
  2. Limitation of liability:
    1. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of any goods or services offered as part of the Promotion, including the Prize(s).
    2. Except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case liability is limited to the minimum permitted by law), the Promoter, its officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss (whether direct, indirect, special or consequential loss), damage, claim, injury, cost or expense, which is suffered or incurred by any individual in connection with the Promotion or the awarding or use of the Prize(s) (Loss), including but not limited to:
      • any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction of any communication or internet system which are beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control;
      • any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference which are beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control;
      • any entry or Prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
      • any variation in Prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions;
      • any tax liability incurred by any winner;
      • any participation or use of any Prize(s);
      • any Loss caused by, or contributed to, by the entrant’s breach of these Terms & Conditions or negligence; and/or
      • any liability for personal injury or death suffered or sustained in connection with the Promotion.
  3. Nothing in these conditions limit, exclude or modify or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia.
  4. Force majeure: If this Promotion is interfered with in any way, or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to:
  5. war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster;
  6. acts of God including fire, lightning, earthquake, explosions, flood, subsidence or other natural disaster;
  7. war, insurrection, civil disorder, military operations or acts of terrorism;
  8. strikes, lock outs, bans or industrial disputes of any kind (not related solely to the party affected);
  9. epidemics, pandemics biological contamination or public health emergency or any resulting governmental action including mandatory business or workplace closures, work stoppages, full or partial lockdown, quarantines, border closures and travel restrictions;
  10. acts, directives, orders, laws or regulations of any government or government agency or authority;
  11. computer disruption due to the effects of a virus or other malicious code or equipment malfunction which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion; or
  12. the modification, suspension or termination of the 2024 AFLW Premiership Season,

the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law and subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.

  1. Protecting Personal Information: The Promoter is committed to protecting the privacy of the entrants’ personal information.
  2. Type of Personal Information: During the entry process, entrants provide information that identifies them such as full name and phone number (Personal Information).
  3. Use of Personal Information: By entering this Promotion, entrants consent to the Promoter’s use of their Personal Information provided for the following purposes:
    1. processing the entrant’s entry;
    2. communicating with the entrants about the Promotion;
    3. operating the Promotion;
    4. determining and awarding Prize(s);
      (Purposes)
  4. Disclosure of Personal Information: The Promoter may disclose such Personal Information to third parties, including but not limited to related entities, agents, contractors, service providers and Prize suppliers for those Purposes, unless the Promoter is otherwise advised. The Promoter requires such third parties to comply with Australian privacy laws that apply to the entrants’ Personal Information. The prize winner’s Personal Information may be disclosed to State and Territory, regulatory authorities, including lottery departments as required by law.
  5. Failure to provide Personal Information: If an entrant does not provide the requested Personal Information, then this may prevent the registration of the entrant in the Promotion.
  6. Privacy Policy: The RFC Privacy Policy, available at www.richmondfc.com.au/privacy, contains further details regarding how the Promoter uses and handles personal information including how entrants can access or correct information held about them; how they can make a privacy related complaint; how that complaint will be dealt with; and the extent to which the entrants’ information may be disclosed to overseas recipients.
  7. Consent to use details of winners: By entering this Promotion, entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without any remuneration for the purpose of promoting future similar promotions and any products or services of the Promoter.

Promoter's Privacy Policy: The Promoter’s Privacy Policy, available at www.richmondfc.com.au/privacy, contains further details regarding how the Promoter uses and handles personal information including how entrants can access or correct information the Promoter holds about them, how they can make a privacy related complaint, how that complaint will be dealt with and the extent to which the entrant’s information may be disclosed to overseas recipients (if any).
  9. No endorsement by social media platforms: This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other social media platform. Entrants provide their information to the Promoter.
