This document contains the terms and conditions of entry (Terms & Conditions) into the Strong & Bold Foundation: Elite Patron Donation
Promotion (Promotion). Other published information on how to enter, advertising material and prize information form part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry into this Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
The promoter is Richmond Football Club Ltd, ABN 25 679 793 340 (RFC) of Swinburne Centre, Punt Road Oval, Richmond, Victoria 3121. PH: (03) 9426 4400.
The Promotion commences on 01/11/2023 and ends at 11.59PM AEST on 19/09/2024 or when 3,121 tickets have been sold (whichever is first to occur) (Promotional Period).
The Promotion is only open to members of the RFC who have memberships for the 2024 AFL and/or AFLW playing seasons (RFC Memberships) aged 18 years and over in Australia (excluding members who are residents in New South Wales, South Australia and Northern Territory).
To be eligible to enter and receive a scratch & win card (while stocks of scratch & win cards last), a member must donate a minimum of $200 to the RFC in a single transaction either by phone with RFC staff at (03) 9426 4400 or via the RFC website at https://membership.richmondfc.... during the Promotional Period (entrant). In addition:
(a) For each separate minimum donation of $200, entrants will receive one (1) scratch card.
(b) Once the RFC has processed the donation, the entrant will be sent their scratch card. Each scratch card gives the entrant one (1) entry into the Grand Prize Draw and subsequent Bonus Prize Draws and contains five (5) scratch panels whereby entrants must scratch the instant win panels to reveal whether or not they have won an instant win prize.
(c) Each scratch card has a unique promotional code which will be required to redeem the RFC Online Roar Store Voucher at the Roar Store online. The promotional code can only be redeemed online and will not be accepted in-store.
(d) Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries/claims will be deemed invalid.
Each entrant acknowledges and agrees that if:
(a) they make a donation in accordance with these Terms and Conditions; and
(b) are signed up to the 2024 Tiger Pay Payment Plan for any RFC Membership (refer to RFC Membership Terms & Conditions [https://membership.richmondfc....]);
that upon renewal of the Tiger Pay Payment Plan for their 2025 RFC Membership, such amount of the donation will be automatically donated to the RFC on 25/10/2024 or 1/11/2024, unless members advise the RFC otherwise by cancelling their future donation or opting out of renewing via their Tiger Pay Payment Plan. Members will be given at least 30 days' notice in writing of their automatic renewal of their donation under the Tiger Pay Payment Plan for the renewal term. Members may also opt out at any time by contacting RFC membership team on (03) 9426 4400 or membership@richmondfc.com.au.
7. Australian Sports Foundation:
The RFC is registered with, and conducts fundraising activities under the charter of, the Australian Sports Foundation Ltd (ABN 27 008 613 858) (ASF). The ASF has tax-deductible status to raise money on behalf of sporting organisations for the development of sport in Australia. Donations are received by the RFC and will be provided to the ASF for the benefit of the RFC. For each donation of $200, ASF will issue entrants with a tax-deductible receipt for $100. The remaining $100 is in consideration for the opportunity to receive the benefits (ie instant win prizes) offered under the Promotion which are valued at $100 per entry. The RFC will provide the entrant’s personal information to ASF for purposes of this clause in accordance with the privacy collection statement outlined in clause 31.
All draws will be conducted by the RFC at the Swinburne Centre, Punt Road Oval, Richmond, Victoria 3121.
Total prize pool is $52,645. Prizes (or any unused portion of a prize) are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
The Grand Prize Draw will take place on 20/09/2024 at 2PM AEST (Grand Final Draw Date). The first three (3) valid entries drawn will each win a cash prize as noted below. The entrant’s full name and membership number will be used in the Grand Prize Draw.
Grand Prize:
The first valid entry randomly drawn in the Grand Prize Draw will be awarded $20,000 cash.
Second Prize:
The second valid entry randomly drawn in the Grand Prize Draw will be awarded $3,000 cash.
Third Prize:
The third valid entry randomly drawn in the Grand Prize Draw will be awarded $1000 cash.
Grand Prize Draw winners will be notified by phone and email and their names will be published on by" class="redactor-autoparser-object">https://membership.richmondfc.... within four (4) business days of the Grand Final Prize Draw
10. Grand Prize Draw winners will also be contacted to arrange payment of the prizes by electronic funds transfer.
Instant win prizes in the form of RFC Roar Store Vouchers are revealed to entrants with a unique promotional code when the scratch panel of the entry card is removed with the following breakdown: 120 x $50 voucher, 250 x $20 voucher, 430 x $10 voucher and 2321 x $5 voucher.
(a) at the online Roar Store, with the unique promotional code used to redeem the prize during the online checkout process; or
(b) in-store at the Roar Store, with the RFC Roar Store Voucher presented to an RFC staff member during the checkout process; and
(c) by 5.00pm AEDST on 31/03/2025.
13. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the RFC Roar Store Voucher are not included. Any unused balance of the RFC Roar Store Voucher will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of the RFC Roar Store Voucher is subject to any terms and conditions of the RFC including those specified on the RFC Roar Store Voucher.
There will be four (4) Bonus Prize Draws. The first valid entry drawn in each Bonus Prize Draw will win the specified prize outlined below.
Entries close for each Bonus Prize Draw at 11.59PM AEST/AEDST (as applicable in Victoria) on the dates specified in the table below.
All Bonus Prize Draws will take place at 2pm AEST/AEDST on the dates specified in the table below (each a Bonus Prize Draw Date).
Winners will be notified by phone and email and their names will be published on https://membership.richmondfc.... four (4) business days of the relevant Bonus Prize Draw Date.

Entrants who make a donation prior to or on 29/02/2024 will automatically enter the draw to win a 2024 AFL Team Signed Home Guernsey. The winner will be notified by phone and email within four (4) business days of the Bonus Prize Draw Date of 01/03/2024.
(b) 2024 AFL Team Signed Football (valued at $370)
Entrants who make a donation prior to or on 30/04/2024 will automatically enter the draw to win a 2024 AFL Team Signed Football. The winner will be notified by phone and email within four (4) business days of the Bonus Prize Draw Date of 01/05/2024.
(c) 2024 AFLW Team Signed Home Guernsey (valued at $450)
Entrants who make a donation prior to or on 30/06/2024 will automatically enter the draw to win a 2024 AFLW Team Signed Home Guernsey. The winner will be notified by phone and email within four (4) business days of the Bonus Prize Draw Date of 01/07/2024.
(d) 2024 AFLW Team Signed Football (valued at $270)
Entrants who make a donation prior to or on 01/09/2024 will automatically enter the draw to win a 2024 AFL Team Signed Football. The winner will be notified by phone and email within four (4) business days of the Bonus Prize Draw Date of 02/09/2024.
If after reasonable efforts to identify prize winner(s) are made and prize(s) remain unclaimed or if the winner elects not to claim a prize, a draw for any unclaimed prize(s) will take place on 09/12/2024 at 2.00PM AEDST at the Swinburne Centre, Punt Road Oval, Richmond 3121. Winners of the unclaimed prize draw will be notified by phone and email and their names will be published on https://membership.richmondfc.... four (4) business days.
20. Subject to clause 19, if for any reason a winner does not take a prize by the time stipulated by RFC, then the prize will be forfeited.
If any prize (or part of a prize) is unavailable, RFC, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. Prizes must be taken as offered and cannot be varied.
RFC shall not be liable for any prize (including instant win prizes) that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way, unless directly caused by the RFC.
There will be a total of 3121 scratch & win cards printed for this promotion by a third party supplier . Printing error/s and other quality control matters will not be used as a reason to refuse valid claims of instant win prizes. However, scratch & win cards are void if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in any way.
The RFC reserves the right, at any time, to validate and check the authenticity of any entry or prize claim before awarding a prize. This includes the RFC verifying the entrant’s identity particulars (including but not limited to age and place of residence). Proof of identification, age, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the RFC. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, RFC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
Except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case liability is limited to the minimum permitted by law) the RFC, its officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), damage, claim, injury, cost or expense, which is suffered or incurred by any individual in connection with the Promotion or the awarding or use of the prizes (Loss), including but not limited to:
(a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction of any communication or internet system including tampering, deletion, alteration or third party interference which are beyond the RFC's reasonable control;
(b) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the RFC) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the RFC;
(c) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions;
(d) any tax liability incurred by any prize winner;
(e) any loss caused by, or contributed to, by entrant’s breach of these Terms & Conditions or negligence; and/or
(f) any liability for personal injury or death.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits, excludes or modifies the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (in the Australian Consumer Law), as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia.
Prize winners are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to the acceptance of their prize. The RFC takes no responsibility for any tax implications.
The RFC reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entrant who has breached any of these Terms and Conditions or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct that jeopardises the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion. The RFC’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved. Failure by the RFC to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
The RFC’s decision in relation to any aspects of the Promotion is final and binding on all entrants and no correspondence will be entered into.
If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of RFC, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, RFC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law:
(a) to disqualify any entrant (if appropriate) under clause 27; or
(b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.
The RFC collects the entrants’ personal information for the entry form via the RFC website or by phone in order to:
(a) conduct the Promotion, including processing entries, mailing the scratch & win cards and awarding prizes;
(b) communicate with entrants about the Promotion (including awarding and delivering any prizes); and
(c) facilitate the issuing of tax-deductible receipts by ASF to entrants for their donations.
RFC may, for these purposes, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. In particular, the RFC will disclose the entrants’ personal information to ASF to process the donation and issue tax-deductible receipts to the entrants. The RFC requires such third parties to comply with Australian privacy laws that apply to the entrants’ personal information.
Entry into the Promotion is conditional on providing this personal information in the entry form.
The RFC may also use the personal information collected from entrants for promotional, marketing, publicity, purposes related to the Strong & Bold Foundation, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant, unless entrants opt out of receiving such communications by clicking on the unsubscribe link or contacting the RFC at membership@richmondfc.com.au.
The RFC’s Privacy Policy, available at www.richmondfc.com.au/privacy, contains further details regarding how the RFC uses and handles personal information including how entrants can access or correct information we hold about them; how they can make a privacy related complaint; how that complaint will be dealt with; and the extent to which the entrants’ information may be disclosed to overseas recipients.

Entrants consent to the RFC using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (incl. photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without further remuneration or reference for the purpose of promoting this Promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by RFC unless the entrant advises the RFC otherwise by contacting the RFC at membership@richmondfc.com.au.
