Draft a New Member Promotion Terms & Conditions

1. Application of Terms & Conditions: This document contains the terms and conditions of entry (Terms & Conditions) into the Richmond Football Club Draft a Member promotion (Promotion). Other published information on how to enter, advertising material and prize information published by the RFC form part of these Terms & Conditions. Entry into the Promotions constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions by the individual (entrant).
2. RFC: The Promotion is conducted by Richmond Football Club Ltd ABN 25 679 793 340 of Punt Road Oval, Richmond, Victoria 3121 (Premises), membership@richmondfc.com.au / (03) 9426 4400 (RFC).
3. Nature of Promotion: This is a promotion for existing and new members of RFC game access memberships only for the 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season. By satisfying the eligibility requirements in clause 6 and the entrance requirements in clause 12 each:
4. New RFC Member will receive a $10 discount off the price of their 2025 RFC Membership; and
5. Existing New Member will receive a $10 discount off the price of their 2025 RFC Membership for each New RFC Member recruited by that member.

To enter the Promotion and receive the relevant Discount both the Existing RFC Member and the New RFC Member must enter into the Tiger Pay Payment Plan for the payment of their 2025 RFC Membership.

1. Promotional Period: The Promotion commences on 20 November 2024 at 9am AEDT and ends on 31 August 2025 at 5pm AEST (Promotional Period).
2. Receipt of entries: All entries must be received by the RFC by the end of the Promotional Period. Entries will be deemed to be accepted at the time of receipt by the RFC and not at the time of transmission. Incomplete, inaudible, indecipherable or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid.
3. Definitions:
4. 2024 RFC Membership means any membership of the RFC for the 2024 Toyota AFL Premiership Season;
5. 2025 RFC Membership means a game access membership of the RFC which is not less than the 2025 RFC Tiger Insider which is subject to 2025 RFC Membership Terms & Conditions (https://membership.richmondfc.com.au/t-cs/t-cs-2);
6. 2025 Tiger Insider Membership means a 2025 RFC Membership with 3 home game access for RFC games in Melbourne, Victoria;
7. 2026 RFC Membership means a membership of the RFC which is subject to the then current RFC Membership Terms & Conditions for the renewal term;
8. Discount means the amounts specified in clause 13to be deducted off the 2025 RFC Membership;
9. Existing RFC Member means a person who holds an RFC membership for the 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season;
10. New RFC Member means a person who signs up to a RFC membership for the 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season and was not a member of a 2024 RFC Membership;
11. Recruit or recruited means sign up or signed up to a 2025 RFC Membership; and
12. Tiger Pay Payment Plan means the direct debit payment plan for the payment of an 2025 RFC Membership.

1. Eligibility: To be eligible for entry to receive the Discount, an entrant must be:
2. a resident of Australia;
3. an Existing RFC Member (if the nominator of a New RFC Member) who is on the Tiger Pay Payment Plan for their 2025 RFC Membership; and
4. a New RFC Member (as the nominee) who is on the Tiger Pay Payment Plan for their 2025 RFC Membership.
5. Exclusions: Employees of the RFC cannot enter the Promotion.
6. Tiger Pay Payment Plan: – Automatic Renewal: Each entrant acknowledges and agrees that if they agree to enter into the Tiger Pay Payment Plan for their 2025 RFC Membership as part of this Promotion, that upon renewal of the Tiger Pay Payment Plan for their 2026 RFC Membership the amount of their membership fee will be automatically debited to the RFC for the renewal term unless the entrant advises the RFC otherwise by opting out of renewing via their Tiger Pay Payment Plan. Entrants on the Tiger Payment Plan will be given at least 30 days' notice in writing of their automatic renewal of their membership fee under the Tiger Pay Payment Plan for the renewal term. Entrants may also opt out at any time by contacting RFC membership team on 1300 742 466 or membership@richmondfc.com.au. Refer to RFC Membership Terms & Conditions for opt out information.
7. Verification: The RFC reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including the entrant’s identity and place of residence). Suitable proof of identification, residency and entry is at the discretion of the RFC.
8. Disqualification: The RFC reserves the right in its sole discretion to reject an entry and/or disqualify any entrant who it has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms & Conditions, or engaged in any improper or unlawful misconduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion (eg tampered with the entry process). The RFC’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from any offender(s) are reserved. Failure by the RFC to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

1. How to enter: To enter the Promotion and receive the Discount:, entrants must do as follows:
2. During the Promotional Period, the Existing New Member must:
   • be on (or enter into) the Tiger Payment Plan for their 2025 RFC Membership; and
   • nominate a person to become a New RFC Member (ie who is not an Existing RFC Member or a member of a 2024 RFC Membership by completing the questionnaire via the online sign-up payment page via membership.richmondfc.com.au or or advising the membership department who the new and existing members are via phone on 03 9626 4400 or email via membership@richmondfc.com.au
3. During the Promotional Period, the nominated person must sign up to a 2025 RFC Membership to become a New RFC Member and enter into the Tiger Pay Payment Plan either online via membership.richmondfc.com.au or over the phone with the RFC Membership Team via 03 9246 4400.

1. Entry Limit and receipt of Discounts
2. For each New RFC Member that was Recruited by the Existing RFC Member, the Existing RFC Member will receive a Discount of $10.00 off the price of their 2026 RFC Membership. However, the total value of the Discounts will be capped at the price of the Existing RFC Member’s 2025 RFC Membership.

• Each New RFC Member is only eligible to receive one Discount of $10,00 off their 2025 RFC membership when Recruited by an Existing RFC Member.

1. Lost entries: The RFC accepts no responsibility or liability for any late, lost or misdirected entries.
2. Internet costs: Any cost associated with accessing the RFC’s website or any other promotional website or social media platform is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
3. Limitation of liability:
4. To the extent permitted by law, the RFC makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of any goods or services offered as part of the Promotion, including the Prize(s).
5. Except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case liability is limited to the minimum permitted by law), the RFC , its officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss (whether direct, indirect, special or consequential loss), damage, claim, injury, cost or expense, which is suffered or incurred by any individual in connection with the Promotion (Loss), including but not limited to:
   • any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction of any communication or internet system which are beyond the RFC’s reasonable control;
   • any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference which are beyond the RFC’s reasonable control;
   • any entry that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the RFC ) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the RFC;
   • any tax liability incurred by any entrant;
   • any Loss caused by, or contributed to, by the entrant’s breach of these Terms & Conditions or negligence; and/or
   • any liability for personal injury or death suffered or sustained in connection with the Promotion.
6. Nothing in these conditions limit, exclude or modify or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia.
7. Force majeure: If this Promotion is interfered with in any way, or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the RFC, including but not limited to:
8. war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster;
9. acts of God including fire, lightning, earthquake, explosions, flood, subsidence or other natural disaster;
10. war, insurrection, civil disorder, military operations or acts of terrorism;
11. strikes, lock outs, bans or industrial disputes of any kind (not related solely to the party affected);
12. epidemics, pandemics biological contamination or public health emergency or any resulting governmental action including mandatory business or workplace closures, work stoppages, full or partial lockdown, quarantines, border closures and travel restrictions;
13. acts, directives, orders, laws or regulations of any government or government agency or authority;
14. computer disruption due to the effects of a virus or other malicious code or equipment malfunction which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion; or
15. the modification, suspension or termination of the 2025 AFL Premiership Season,

the RFC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law and subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.

1. Protecting Personal Information: The RFC is committed to protecting the privacy of the entrants’ personal information.
2. Type of Personal Information: During the entry process, entrants who are:
3. Existing RFC Members will confirm their personal information (already held by the RFC); and
4. New RFC Members will provide their personal information that identifies them and such as name, email address, mobile telephone number, residential address, and date of birth (Personal Information).
5. Use of Personal Information: By entering this Promotion, entrants consent to the RFC’s use of their Personal Information provided for the following purposes:

(a) processing the entrant’s entry (ie the 2025 RFC Membership, and the relevant Discount;

(b) communicating with the entrants about the Promotion; and

(c) operating the Promotion.
(Purposes)

1. Disclosure of Personal Information: The RFC may disclose such Personal Information to third parties, including but not limited to related entities, agents, contractors, service providers and Prize suppliers for those Purposes, unless the RFC is otherwise advised. The RFC requires such third parties to comply with Australian privacy laws that apply to the entrants’ Personal Information. The prize winner’s Personal Information may be disclosed to State and Territory, regulatory authorities, including lottery departments as required by law.
2. Failure to provide Personal Information: If an entrant does not confirm or provide the requested Personal Information, then this may prevent the registration of the entrant in the Promotion.
3. Privacy Policy: The RFC Privacy Policy, available at www.richmondfc.com.au/privacy, contains further details regarding how the RFC uses and handles personal information including how entrants can access or correct information held about them; how they can make a privacy related complaint; how that complaint will be dealt with; and the extent to which the entrants’ information may be disclosed to overseas recipients.

RFC's Privacy Policy: The RFC’s Privacy Policy, available at www.richmondfc.com.au/privacy, contains further details regarding how the RFC uses and handles personal information including how entrants can access or correct information the RFC holds about them, how they can make a privacy related complaint, how that complaint will be dealt with and the extent to which the entrant’s information may be disclosed to overseas recipients (if any).
5. No endorsement by social media platforms: This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other social media platform. Entrants provide their information to the RFC.
